So, I have read the reviews and this product is underrated. First of all, this is a product for pets with mobility issues. Meaning just getting up and walking are issues. Yes, it wears off quickly if you can ambulate routinely…ie, walk around the block. Secondly, yes it says you need to apply weekly. Got it! This is the best product I have been able to find for my poor border collie, who has bad hip and bilateral ACL issues. Now like I said, this is not for a dog that can walk around the block. It’ll wear off on the first pass, but for those that just can’t get their feet underneath them? I can’t find anything better than this! This product is soooooo worth my besties boost in confidence and comfort! Love love love this product!
